flyadeal welcomes Al-Theeb to initial A320 fleet

flyadeal has received the 11th and last of its initial fleet of new Airbus A320 CEO aircraft.

flyadeal, Ƶ’s low-fare airline and the Kingdom’s third-largest carrier, has received the 11th and last of its initial fleet of new Airbus A320 CEO aircraft. Al-Theeb or “The Wolf” will enable the airline to extend flying from Riyadh and Dammam.

“flyadeal’s growth story began with the launch of its first flight from Jeddah to Riyadh on National Day 2017. After 16 months of operations and taking our 11th aircraft we now offer a total of 70 daily flights across our network,” said Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal.

He added: “The growth we have accomplished in a short period of time is not only a fulfillment of our promise to provide our customers with additional everyday low fares between all the major cities in the Kingdom but is also a reflection of the growing demand for domestic travel.”

The company’s build-up of seat capacity is in line with its promise to offer the Kingdom’s citizens and residents more opportunities to travel for affordable prices throughout the domestic flight network. Today, this network spans eight main destinations: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Qassim, Jazan, Abha, Tabuk and Madinah.

Korfiatis commended the efforts of flyadeal staff and praised the strong working relationship with the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA), which he said has supported the growth of low-fare travel across the Kingdom. flyadeal completed one year of operations on Sept. 23, 2018. The airline now operates 11 Airbus A320ceos and recently announced an agreement with Boeing to order 30 new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 20 options.

flyadeal is owned by the Ƶn Airlines Corporation.
